Bamboo fence prices are influenced by multiple factors, with market rates typically ranging from 30 to 80 yuan per meter.

Material differences affect costs
Mao bamboo and Nan bamboo are the primary materials used. Nan bamboo is sturdier and more durable, commanding a price 10% to 20% higher than Mao bamboo. A standard Mao bamboo fence costs approximately 30 yuan per meter, whereas a treated (rot-resistant) Nan bamboo version can reach 50 yuan per meter.

Manufacturing complexity determines price premiums
Standard weaving techniques (involving a single layer of interlaced bamboo strips) are more affordable, ranging from 30 to 50 yuan per meter. Features such as carvings or special styling-such as simulated bamboo-node textures or carbonization treatments-require more complex craftsmanship, potentially driving the price up to 60–80 yuan per meter.

Regional variations cause price fluctuations
In major bamboo-producing regions like Anji (Zhejiang) and Pixian (Sichuan), abundant raw material supplies result in prices that are 15% to 30% lower than in non-producing areas. Wholesale prices in Anji start at 20 yuan per meter, while retail prices in major cities can range from 50 to 80 yuan per meter.
