Maintain a well-ventilated and dry indoor environment
Regular indoor ventilation allows chemical substances within the flooring to dissipate outdoors and facilitates the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Proper ventilation is especially crucial when the premises have been unoccupied or unmaintained for extended periods. Common practices include frequently opening windows or doors to promote air circulation, or utilizing air conditioning and ventilation systems to create a dry, clean indoor environment.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and rain
Direct sunlight or rain entering through windows can damage bamboo flooring. Sunlight accelerates the aging of the finish and adhesive, potentially causing the flooring to shrink and crack. Exposure to rain causes the bamboo to absorb moisture, leading to swelling and deformation; in severe cases, it can result in mold growth. Therefore, special care should be taken during daily use.

Prevent damage to the flooring surface
The finish on bamboo flooring serves as both a decorative and protective layer; therefore, avoid impacts from hard objects, scratches from sharp tools, and friction from metal items. Chemical substances should not be stored indoors. Additionally, handle furniture with care when moving it, and place protective pads (such as rubber) under furniture legs. In public areas, consider laying down carpets or mats in high-traffic walkways.

Proper cleaning and maintenance
Clean the floor regularly to maintain hygiene. To clean, first sweep away dust and debris with a clean broom, then wipe the surface manually with a damp cloth (wrung out thoroughly). For larger areas, a clean mop may be used; hang it up to let excess water drip off before mopping the floor. Never wash the floor with running water or use excessively wet cloths or mops. If liquids are spilled on the floor, wipe them up immediately with a dry cloth.
If conditions permit, applying a coat of floor wax periodically can enhance protection. If the finish is damaged, you can touch it up yourself using standard clear varnish or contact the manufacturer for repairs.
